Rules & Regulations
Please read these Official Rules before entering the Falcon Club 50/50 Raffle (the “Raffle”). By purchasing a ticket, you represent that you meet all of the below-stated requirement and agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decisions of Falcon Club, (the “Sponsor”), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, or its representative.
1. THE RAFFLE: The Falcon Club, (“Sponsor”) is a raffle whereby tickets are sold during football games at the Doyt Perry Stadium and surrounding areas, during hockey games at the BGSU Ice Arena and during men’s and women’s basketball games in the Stroh Center. In football, the winning number will be announced over the PA system and on the video scoreboard between the 3rd and the 4th Quarter. In hockey, the winning number will be announced over the PA system during 3rd period. In basketball, the winning number will be announced by the PA announcer and on the video scoreboard in the 2nd half. The winning number will also be posted on the www.ps5050.com/BGSUFalcons microsite. One fan that has purchased a raffle ticket will, for that particular game, win fifty percent (50%) of the net proceeds (also known as “Pot”, or “Pool”). All remaining proceeds from the Raffle shall be retained by the Falcon Club. Each raffle begins approximately 1 and one half hours prior to game time and ends in the 3rd quarter in football; in the 2nd intermission in hockey and at the end of halftime in basketball (each a “Raffle Period”).
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Raffle is only open to anyone eighteen (18) years of age and older as of the date of purchase. Only one winner per ticket is allowed. Need not be present to win.
3. ENTRY: You may enter the Raffle, if you meet the eligibility requirements, by agreeing to follow these Official Rules and purchasing Raffle ticket in various price points from our stationary selling location or from Raffle sales representatives roaming in or around stadium or arena locations. All Raffle ticket purchases must be completed by the end of the applicable Raffle Period. The Sponsor is not liable for any lost, later, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undelivered, or destroyed tickets regardless of cause or person responsible including, but not limited to, any problem or technical malfunction of any computer, online system or server or technical problem.
4. DRAWING: The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Raffle tickets purchased during each Raffle Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor whose decision will be final. The selected Raffle number will be announced by the PA Announcer and on the video scoreboard. It will also
be posted on the www.ps5050.com/BGSUFalcons microsite. In the event the scoreboard or microsite is inoperable, the selected raffle ticket/number can be found at the Marketing Kiosk at any game.
How to Claim a Prize
To claim a prize, the holder of the selected Raffle ticket (a “Prize Claimant”) must contact Sponsor and present the winning Raffle ticket in person to the Falcon Club Representative at the Marketing Kiosk in South End for football, the Marketing Kiosk on the East Concourse for basketball, the Marketing Kiosk on the South Concourse for hockey or they can contact Robin Veitch, Assistant Director of Financial Affairs in the Athletic Department by calling 419-372-7063 or emailing rlynv@bgsu.edu within thirty (30) days of the drawing. The 50/50 Raffle ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize and must be redeemed either in person or via mail. Each Prize Claimant must provide Sponsor with all information required to claim a prize (including tax identification information). In the event a Prize Claimant: (a) does not notify Sponsor within thirty (30) days of drawing; (b) is ruled ineligible for any reason; (c) refuses the prize; the Prize will be forfeited and will be retained by Sponsor. Sponsor has no obligation to contact potential winners. Unclaimed winnings will be retained by the Sponsor.
